Have you ever dreamed of walking and talking with God? If you are joining me from A Beautiful Life Ministry, welcome. If you have not read my story about the Holy Spirit to the rescue, I welcome you to read it by clicking here.
While attending an Advance Healing and Deliverance Class through PRMI, the Lord clearly spoke to me. He said, “Someday you will teach at the Community of the Cross in Black Mountain, NC.” I thought that’s nice.
So did I take steps towards fulfilling word? Well, at least not right away. However, in the last few years, I have realized that I discounted myself, regarding myself as not important, not gifted, and certainly not ready to teach at a global ministry; but that isn’t what God said. (Hmmm… ?! )
If you didn’t know, PRMI is an equipping ministry center dedicated to advancing the kingdom of God through Spirit empowered ministry. Their Dunamis Institute and their Dunamis Conferences have changed my life, and they hold them all over the world teaching people how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and grow the church of Jesus Christ. (Check out the links above to find an event near you.)
Seriously, can you relate to what I was thinking? YIKES, it was a lie from the pits of hell.
Of course, God wants to equip me. And He desires to do the same for you! He is for us, not against us. He desires for you and me to complete our God given assignments. I don’t know about you, but I want to see those dreams fulfilled.
So I took the next step, and called PRMI’s director Cindy sharing my word about teaching. The next thing I know is that I am enrolled in their Exousia class. In fact, next week I’m attending the second part of this class. (Yay GOD!) Words cannot describe the excitement I feel in my heart to step out in more fullness to complete the assignment He has for me. I am overjoyed as I prepare my short teaching lesson in preparation for this class.
Wanna guess what my topic will be on?
The Holy Spirit and the TRINITY ( I call this the 3 Divine Ws. Take a look at this chart and try to guess why. HAHA!)
Truly, I have fallen in love with the Holy Spirit. Let me share just one story about the Holy Spirit that my mom told me. Really, I have many stories to tell, but this one touches my heart as I write this post. As many of you know, my mother was abandoned by her natural father and had an abusive alcoholic step-father. Her childhood was traumatic, to say the least.
But my precious mother KNEW the Lord Jesus ever since she was a little girl. She was raised Catholic and was quite familiar with many church doctrines; however, she knew how to call out to God. One day, she was hurting so bad that she deeply cried out to God for help.
“AND HE CAME!” she exclaimed. “The Holy Spirit came and put His arms around me, and He told me that He was MY HEAVENLY FATHER.” I knew He was right there with me, and has been with me all the time.
WOW! What a story! Now that testimony, my beautifully made friends, is who our Triune God is! He is the father to the fatherless, the lover of our soul, our redeemer and deliverer. He is Almighty God, in-comprehensively comprehensible. None can compare with Him. I am so excited to teach this lesson because it helps me understand more about who He is and who I am called to be.
It’s funny how this works. As we grow deeper in our relationship with Him, we actually discover more about who He has called each each one of us to be for His Kingdom. I know, I know.. He is so amazing, isn’t He? He comes and dwells in our inner most being, transforming us and the world around us. We just have to invite Him into our lives, like my mom did that day, and believe.
And oh… I must say this again. I can’t help myself. How I love the divine person of the Holy Spirit and my Triune God. Do you know Him? Have you experienced His presence? He and His works are glorious~!
The blessed Holy Spirit is the connecting point between heaven and earth. He does this work in you and me, and can turn the world upside down. I have so many stories to tell of His workings in my life. I wish I could share more about my lesson today, but I simply don’t have the time to write that book yet.
However, I’d love to hear from you. What do you think about the Trinity and the Holy Spirit? How have you experienced Him? What do you think makes our God so special?
