What was your most memorable meal? Mine was prepared for me while I was sleeping.
But before the cooking started, my husband filled balloons with helium awaiting the moment I awoke. When I opened my big green eyes, I was stunned. Colorful balloons blanketed our bedroom ceiling. (Yep, I slept through it all!)
So what was the menu?
-Classic Eggs Benedict with homemade hollandaise sauce
-Mushrooms sautéed in butter with oregano
-Fresh brewed coffee with cream and sugar
-Orange juice with champagne AND
-The finale of final touches –
dark chocolate truffles!
I must say – my husband outdid himself that day. A 10th anniversary breakfast I will never forget.
The next day we enjoyed the memory by waking up to a soft cover of multicolor balloons that fell on us through the night.
Because of my husband, I have experienced God’s love. He’s seen me at my worst and still loves me. Thank you God for my husband. Thank you God for Your love.
I had no idea love could be this extravagant.

This coming week my husband and I will be celebrating our 32nd anniversary. Seems like a long time, but sometimes it feels like yesterday. Our plans are not quite as memorable as that 10th anniversary, but we are going to celebrate nonetheless -with a fancy dinner and an evening at the NC Symphony.
